Hi, we’re Lexi and Matt. Thanks for stopping by! We’re a Maine husband and wife photography team specializing in weddings, engagements, family portraits, and senior pictures. We’re located in central Maine, and we work with clients all throughout the state, from Portland to Bar Harbor to points further north. We also offer our services in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and the rest of New England.
Our goal is to tell stories through our pictures. We strive to create timeless photographs that are true to life and full of color. We want every picture to be a work of art that captures the imagination and makes the viewer feel something personal. Clients have described our photographs as creative, artistic, bright, fun, sharp, classy, candid, and photojournalistic.
Why do we love to photograph weddings? Because we truly love working with our clients! It’s always an honor to be invited into our clients’ lives on such an intimate, joyful, and memorable day. It’s incredibly rewarding to know we’re responsible for capturing all the tenderness and excitement, all the stolen glances, the little moments, and the hidden details that make a wedding day so much more than any other day. Each time we photograph a wedding, we’re reminded of how happy we were on our own wedding day. It really reinforces why we love what we do and how fortunate we are to be photographing weddings. We’re truly a “couple for couples.”
We photograph families large and small, offering sessions on location. Every family is different, and we work closely with our families to determine what type of session is best for them. Some families prefer more traditional group portraits, while other families want candid, lifestyle pictures. We’re happy to provide either experience, or a combination of the two. We’ll work with you to find a great location and to help you pick clothing that will make you look and feel your best. More than half of our families live outside of Maine. So, if you’re visiting from away, we’ll gladly help you plan your session as part of your stay here.
When photographing high school seniors, we strike a balance between the classic and the creative, so that parents and seniors both get pictures they love. We really enjoy doing fashion-inspired portraits that are artistic and unique, while still being true to you and your personality. We offer sessions on location, and we use a variety of lighting and posing techniques to make you look and feel fabulous.
